Most appliance companies treat a Sub-Zero like any other refrigerator. It isn't. A built-in Sub-Zero runs two separate sealed systems, a grille-top condenser, and a control strategy built to hold food for decades. Handing that to a generalist is how a small fan-motor job turns into a replaced compressor.
We built this company around a narrower promise: Sub-Zero, and Sub-Zero only. Over the years our technicians have worked on nearly every configuration the brand has shipped — the analog 500-series built-ins from the late eighties, the 600 and 700 series that introduced electronic control, and the current Classic, Designer and PRO lines with their EC fault codes. That focus is why we can often name the failed part before the panel comes off.
We work throughout the city, from the older homes of Capitol Hill and Queen Anne to the waterfront kitchens of Madison Park and Laurelhurst. Our office sits downtown in Columbia Tower, which keeps our trucks close to every neighborhood and lets us hold most appointments same-day.
We are not affiliated with the manufacturer, and we tell customers so plainly. What we offer instead is independence — honest repair-versus-replace advice, fair pricing, and a real interest in keeping a well-built machine running rather than selling you a new one.

We only work on Sub-Zero
Refrigeration is a different craft from ovens and dishwashers. Because we stay inside one brand, we know the quirks of a 532 versus a CL3650, and where each one tends to fail.
Genuine parts, correctly fitted
We install OEM Sub-Zero compressors, fans, gaskets, control boards and ice modules. Aftermarket parts fail early and can void what warranty coverage remains on your unit.
Diagnose before we quote
You get a firm price after we find the actual fault, not a guess over the phone. The $89 service call is applied straight to the repair when you go ahead.
Respect for the home
These units sit in finished kitchens with stone floors and custom cabinetry. We protect the surroundings, pull and reset built-ins carefully, and clean up before we leave.
Licensed, insured, and accountable
Our technicians are licensed and fully insured, and refrigerant work is performed under EPA Section 608 certification. Every repair is backed by a warranty on both parts and labor. If something we touched isn't right, we come back and make it right — that is the whole point of hiring a specialist instead of a handyman.
